Tyler Gap began with a simple belief — that faith based stories deserve to be told beautifully, and that the frontier spirit of the American West still speaks to something deep inside all of us.

Set in the 1860s American frontier, Tyler Gap follows Grace Adams — a young missionary woman who returns to her family’s land in Tyler Gap not knowing that the truth about her brother’s disappearance is about to find her. Not because she went looking for it. But because she was exactly where God put her.

How Tyler Gap Was Made
Tyler Gap is produced entirely using artificial intelligence tools — making it one of the first faith based drama series ever created without a traditional cast, crew, or film location.

Every frame was generated. Every voice was crafted. Every piece of music was composed originally for the series. A production of this scale — with period locations, costumed extras, live horses and wranglers, drone and crane footage, SAG actors, a full film crew, travel, lodging, permits and insurance — would conservatively cost $487,000 or more with a traditional indie film production. In a real-world filming scenario, Season 1 would have required 82 different camera setups. Regardless if the scene is 5 seconds or 5 minutes, it would require the same crew and equipment. But with the use of AI filmmaking tools, it was made for considerably less.
